How has your year been? This is a good time to assess what you accomplished this year and start setting goals for next year.
As you look back at the year that is drawing to a close, what stands out to you? My business is doing well, and I am pleased with all that I managed to do this year, but there are many things I didn’t get to. It seems that there are always more projects than time.
Don’t beat yourself up for the things you didn’t do. Give yourself a pat on the back for what you did accomplish, and set new goals for the future. It is easy to see all that is undone and lose sight of all that you have achieved.
Maintain balance in your plan. Instead of focusing only on business goals, include all aspects of your life. What will you do to serve your family and your community? How will you grow your business? How will you develop yourself? And what will you do “just for fun”?
Make your goals specific, and establish a timeline for each thing you plan to do. Identify the steps you will take to reach your goals and set deadlines. Then, do what you planned.
Make next year your best year ever, professionally and personally.
