A short newsletter this week, because of the holiday. Look for a return to our usual format next week. Meanwhile, if you want to read some of my articles, see http://www.IdeaLady.com/content
In the U.S., this Thursday is Thanksgiving. It is a time to count our blessings and give thanks for the good things that have come our way.
This is a good time to take stock of both your personal and professional lives and give thanks, especially to and for the people who have made a difference.
And don’t do it only to yourself, or even just to God. Tell the people you are thankful for, too. Write a letter, drop them a note, send a card, whatever . . . but let them know you appreciate what they have done.
Thanks to the mentors who shared their knowledge and experience.
Thanks to the vendors who helped you to learn and to grow your business.
Thanks to the associates who supplied leads and referrals.
Thanks to the friends who provided a cheering section, and shoulders to lean on (and sometimes to cry on).
Thanks to the customers who have been loyal, even during the tough times.
Thanks to the spouse or partner who provided support and encouragement.
Thanks to the banker who believed in you.
And one last one, from me: Thanks to you, for reading these newsletters and sending your encouragement and feedback. It makes my day to get an email saying that a Bright Idea worked for you, or that it inspired you to try something new.
Let’s keep inspiring each other! Happy Thanksgiving to all.
